What living in America taught me about racism

It has been a very sad few days here in America. But unfortunately it is not something new. The violent and unfair killing of more African- Americans has made this inflamed wound to finally burst. How much more can people stand? How much more can we all be blind, ignorance, and avoiding this huge problem of stepping over the human rights of our fellow citizens. I felt the need to share.

Is "Finding Happiness" the next new trend?

If we could only wake up one day and say "I am happy! I am really happy!" How possible this is? How easy is to switch mindset? How easy is to stop unhappy noises in your head and around you? How easy is to stop accusing other factors, people or situations for your own un-happiness? You will have probably think: This is how I am, I was born  seeing the glass half-empty." So with all these questions in mind, and more, i started looking for answers. My search land me to an online course. The subject: "The science of Well-being" by professor Laurie Santos. Well, apparently finding happiness is in the bucket list of million people, that they are in the hunt of how to touch, feel, achieve it, because by now almost 2.5 million have sign up to this course! Making it the most popular course in the history of Yale university!  And there is a reason apart from the "Stay at home" orders .This course is the best start you can make if you are in the look out for ways to achieve happiness! And keeps on giving you more than the answers you are looking for...

Is this virus a spiritual wake up call?

For most of the people in the world, what we are going through at this point of time is a confusing feeling that they cannot explain, therefore feelings of fear, depression, and anxiety are growing into them. For those that are more spiritual connected with the world, their selves, and are seeing things through a different spectrum, it is a time of personal growth, awaking, and unity. Everyone now has the power to either spread the fear or spread the light and love. As Sahara Rose, an expert in mind and body, Ayurveda specialist, and approved by the master Deepak Chopra with hundreds of followers, says at her latest newsletter "In times of fear, we are meant to embody the sun."

Self-care is not selfish, is vital

☆Self care had never been my first priority. Although I was always interesting in reading and researching about this topic, and after I would go and suggest to my friends and love ones ways to love and taking care of them selves, I wouldn't actually applying to myself what I was preaching. That sounds like a fraud, right? But so many people do the same. They put themselves last on the list sometimes forever and sometimes until the red flags are so profound that they can't escape and it is time to face the problem right in the eyes.

What -a lot of- stress can teach you

My stress reliever

It is the first month of the New year and since i rarely have resolutions  i will just go with you through some realizations and lessons i learned from the past challenging year i had, and still partially have, and maybe you had also, and you too looking for ways to overcome and move on.

Red sign! STRESS was my biggest challenge of all.  I am not going to lie, i have never been the person that has the most cool reaction when there is an issue or a problem, but this time everything was seriously out of proportion. Mountains after mountains that i had to climb, and obstacles to overpass. Accumulations of  "you must do" and losses of "i want/need to do"
